About Us
My name is Michelle. My friends and I created this page to show Creation Entertainment and Eyecon that Miami has The Vampire Diaries fans as well. Only once has two of the actors come to meet fans here and even that was difficult for people to go to because it was just a small mall signing and nowhere near as fun and direct as these conventions can be.
Creation Entertainment used to come to Miami for Twilight conventions which I gladly attended and have to say were amazing. But this was a few years ago and Creation Entertainment hasn’t done anything in Miami since. I know they recently stopped in Orlando and although that is in Florida I know so many people that wanted to attend but couldn’t because they couldn’t afford to stay in a hotel for three days, including myself.
Eyecon has also done a stop in Orlando but that was many months ago and it was for True Blood. Now from what I can see they don’t have The Vampire Diaries cast coming to Miami. I remember at the mall tour that Hottopic did a few years ago, although only a few hundred tickets were sold, hundreds more people came in hopes to see Ian and Paul walk out and to me that’s dedication.

Creation Entertainment or Eyecon should put Miami as one of their stops for their Vampire Diaries conventions so that us Miami fans can have the amazing chance to personally meet some of our favorite actors/actresses from this incredible television show that we’ve all loved and watched from the very beginning. These conventions are the best when it comes to that because of how much you get to do. You get to attend panels and personally meet your idols. It is much better than waiting in line for hours in the heat to just talk to that person for a few seconds and not even be allowed to take a photograph with them but in conventions you can!
Our goal here is to reach at least 400 signatures but even a few hundred would be great! The more signatures we have the better chance we will all have. Once we have enough we can hopefully speak to someone who runs the conventions and get them to stop down here! Tell your friends, share our banner, any bit of help counts!
